Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist - August 2008
	It was a great achievement to reach the finalist of Entrepreneur of the Year Award and although we didn’t win, we still had a fun night out on the town with the team. We DID win free wine bottles for the most enthusiastic supporters of the night though so that’s a nice consolation prize!

	Our continued rise as Australia's favourite online store continued when we were nominated as a finalist in the Australian Retail Awards. We had the honour of being nominated for the big gong - Australian Retailer of the Year! This is a big achievement particularly as "bricks and mortar" stores tend to dominate these awards. Hoorah!

	Wow - the word keeps spreading about DealsDirect. Hitwise have awarded us the latest in a long string of awards for consistently rating as Australia's #1 online department store - this time for July to September 2007. 	The BRW Fast 100 list recognises Australia's fastest growing companies, on a year-on-year basis. It's a fantastic feat to make the Fast 100 - and something we managed to do in 2006 with your support! But to make the BRW Fast 100 two years in a row - well, that's an amazing achievement, and we managed to do it thanks to customers just like you spreading the DealsDirect word. The best news? The bigger we grow thanks to our wonderful customers, the more unbelievable bargains we can offer you!

	We've just been presented our fourth award for #1 online department store in Australia, as awarded by Hitwise! In 2007 we have once again received more visitors than any other online department store in Australia. 	The BRW Fast 100 recognises Australia's fastest growing companies. In 2006, DealsDirect.com.au placed 31st out of every company in Australia - not bad! We couldn't have grown this quickly without our customers spreading the word about what used to be the best-kept secret on the net.
MyBusiness Award
	We recently won the MyBusiness 2006 Award for Best E-Business. The MyBusiness awards recognise the most successful and popular small businesses in Australia. Plus, they were hosted by David Koch, so we got to meet Kochie! Oh, how we blushed.
