Our History

DealsDirect.com.au was founded in October 2004 by Paul Greenberg and Michael Rosenbaum.

Paul and Mike were previously the largest sellers on eBay Australia, trading under the name of Auctionbrokers. After realising customers preferred instant purchase rather than go through the whole auction process, Paul and Mike set up a separate website - and DealsDirect.com.au was born!

We've continued to grow over the years, outgrowing four separate warehouses to arrive at our massive 40,000m² site facility with a warehouse which is 1km in length! We have also delivered 4 million parcels to over 1 million happy customers!

Today, we are Australia's favourite discount department store and voted Australia's leading discount department Store by Hitwise 2005-2009!* We operate as a small to medium business via multiple retail channels with the exception of bricks and mortar outlets.
