100% sound with MP3 and WMA: The new MP3 and WMA-enabled CD 4626 X allows you to enjoy all your favorite hits on CDs you've put together yourself, featuring excellent sound quality. Using the iPod adapter, you can also choose to access your MP3 files while charging your iPod. All the key functions required can be controlled via the CD 4626 X radio keys.

CD/MP3/WMA-Player
Ensures 100% music enjoyment. You can put together your favourite music without changing the CD. Simply press a button to play most audio CDs - and enjoy maximum music backed by exceptional ease of use.

USB & iPod ready
Allows you to listen to music from your external device over your car radio system. Main functions (such as display of ID3 Tags, next and previous track, fast forward or backward) of USB device & iPod can be operated direcly by the radio keys. The USB device & iPod can easliy be connected via the Changer Input of the radio.*

Service Interval Computer
Performs all functions usually associated with an on-board computer, such as displaying inspection schedule and distance. It also warns the driver when a predefined maximum speed is exceeded - making every journey a little bit safer and more relaxed.

Changer Control
For stereo preamp input connection possibilities for analogue VDO Dayton CD/DVD changers.

Detachable Front
For theft protection, the complete front of this car radio is detachable.

Infrared Remote Control
Enables easy handling of most functions of the VDO Dayton CD 4626 X. This boosts driving safty and comfort by allowing to stay in control of the vehicle at all times. Additionally an original steering wheel remote control can be
connected directly to the device or by using an adaptor.*

Switchable Key Illumination
For better car integration. The user can choose between two different key illuminations (orange/green).

External Display Interface (EDI)*
EDI is the ability to connect the standard display in the cockpit when installing a VDO Dayton Smart Line car radio.

Aux In
With the Aux In you can connect additional audio sources to your car�s Hi-Fi system.

Telephone In
Connection of a hands-free kit�s audio output to the radio. Playback of thr current source is automatically interrupted and the incoming call is played through the car�s speakers.

The finishing of the radio complies with the interior safety requirements according to the European regulations related to crash testing.
