The box does say it is not effective for older dogs. It has eliminated the problem but there has been a marked improvement.”

The only minus I find is that you need to be mindful of where to place the unit, as loud noises / voices can set off the unit. I (& i'm sure my neighbours) recommend giving it a go.”

I don't move it round cause I want them to know the difference. Works great. Loaned it to others...worked on a friends Maltese.(inside) Lower sensitivity helped with other loud noises accidentally setting it off. Didn't work on friends neighbour's dog. Outdoors or open areas doesn't seem to work well. Son's dogs also didn't respond to unit set up outside.”

It has 2 options, silent - supposedly heard by only dogs, but mine did not react to silent and the annoying high pitched sound. Obviously works for some, but was a waste of money for me.”

Lance from Stafford, QLD says, “The product doesnt work. It emits a piercing noise that will annoy you(possibly even damage your hearing) but your dog will continue to happily bark. It only has two sensor settings, low and high, the low setting is too low to detect anything, and the high setting makes the unit go off at anything. dont waste your money!!”
