Adrian from Albert Park, VIC says, “I have one and while I wouldn't trust its accuracy down to the letter, it does give you an idea when you're levels are low enough to drive. Over 0.02 and don't drive... oh and if you can't operate it, then chances are you've had too much to drink to drive home.”

M from WA says, “I purchased this for a bit of a joke for my husband. I was actually surprised for the price of the product it actually works quite well. Have used this often, particulary when out and quick to take and use to test who is going to drive home. Can just put in your pocket or handbag or use it as a keychain - small and conpact in size. It gives you a reading enough to keep you from a traffic ticket and being charged for drunk driving by the police.”

Peter from Woodford, NSW says, “I've bought a number (at least 8) of these over time as gifts for family and friends, and have had one myself for over 3 years. A bit tricky to learn to use for some, and the buttons are small and close to each other, so fiddly, but once becoming familiar with it's function these are a really useful key chain accessory. Eventually the chain tore out of my unit after it got caught in a wire seat, and I had to drill a small hole in the end and refix it with nylon string. The up/down timer is most useful especially for parking meters, and I even use it for cooking. The breath tester has saved my bacon (and others) in the past and the orange night light a real bonus in dark areas and quite sufficient to light the way over rough ground on dark nights. I use at least one of it's various functions pretty much every day and I think these represent a very sound purchase. Take the time to learn how to use them properly though.”

One unit gave readings pretty much as expected (hic) but the other one consistently showed low readings from the same inebriate breath. Inexpensive enough, but why bother making something which does not work. (testing conducted during a convivial evening at home - no one was driving afterwards)”
