Dial from QLD says, “Very happy. Well designed product. I'm glad I got the model with the viewing window, as I can line up older negatives that do not fit the plastic negative holder. In fact, I haven't used the holder much at all, preferring just to slide the negatives in (for speed as I have thousands), although I'm not sure this gives the optimum clarity of scan. Using photoshop or similar to brighten and sharpen the photos gives good results, although some of my older negatives are not in good condition. Well worth buying this if you have hundreds of old negatives and not a lot of time. It is fun to see once again the photos that you had given away. I now have a list of family and friends wanting to borrow it for themselves, as they loved seeing the old photos I emailed on to them.”

Second one received is working fine, does a good job and did not have to buy a 1 gb SD card, using the ones I have already for my digital camera.(wont take my multi media card though) Does seem a bit flimsy so don't know how long it will last.”

Time consuming, but I don't see how it could be done any quicker and it only has to be done once. Easy to use. Very compact and light. Would highly reccomend getting a good cleaning brush to clean up your slides before transferring.”
