Debunking the myths
Gigabit LAN:
• This is for wired connections and will only be usefull if you are sharing large files through a wired connection IE Video streaming from PC to Media Player/LAN Gamming etc.. Your average internet connection will work at between 5 and 30 Mbps; so there is no advantage in GIGabit for web surfing which caters for around 90% of Wireless router market

2 Antenas V's 3:
• The advantage of 3 antenna product over 2 Antenna products is signal strength helping have a greater Speed over Distance.

Dual Band:
• The 802.11n standard works in both the 2.4Ghz and the 5Ghz Spectrum; With the 2.4Ghz being the most prevelant in Australia. Our competitors offer a range of Dual band products this is mainly because they are international companies and there is no local development cost for them. The reality of this is the majority of people will only ever use the 2.4Ghz spectrum. The only real use for 5Ghz in Ausrtala is for people living in high density housing with allot of wirless networks active in there building.

Green Ethernet:
• Green Ethernet is a system where the power consumption of the router is reduced dased on the traffic flow throuw the unit. Power save mode is mandatory on all 802.11n products so with that said our current router effectivy is a "green Router anyway.
