6 “It's very difficult to assemble the ladder to the main carriage above it because the holes do not line up, nor were there sufficient pre-drilled holes. You will need a drill to make your own holes in order to assemble product in a sturdy manner. My cat doesn't care for the peculiar strong smell of the carpet. Will need to use cat nip or similar to overcome the smell factor.”

The stairs can be tricky as the connectors are different from the instructions, but if you take your time to work it out before you proceed to screw it together it will be fine.”

0 “It's quite sturdy, but I agree that the ladder was a weak point in the product. The holes weren't in the right place and I've yet to take the thing apart and re-attach the ladder! Also the scratching poles were a bit rough for my kitten's feet, so she was hesitant to go on it at first. She loved the little room though :)With that said, this is still a good value for money product.”

1 “My cats love it, but I disagree with others about the stability - my 6.3kg cat makes the whole thing shake! Particularly when he sits on the very top, his favourite spot. Some parts are just cardboard, and it's not real carpet. But for the price, still quite good, similar sturdy version at pet shop was near $200.”

I created my own wooden brackets and this is now bracing the whole unit 100% better.Having said that, it still has a slight wobble from the baseplate, but nothing alarming. The cat loves the scratching pole, but as yet has shown little interest in the housebox - and no interest in the top deck - yet he is an avid tree climber. maybe he is telling me something? Go figure !! Other cats seem to love it, so I guess it is a matter of feline tastes !!”
