Bringing a fresh and dramatic eye to the study of the history and composition of the earth, Stewart's journey explains just why it is that geology should be restored to its rightful place as the grandfather of sciences. About the Author
Dr Iain Stewart is a senior lecturer in Geology at the University of Plymouth's School of Earth, Ocean and Environmental Sciences. He is also a television presenter for the BBC's Science Department. He lives with his family in Plymouth.
