Our 8’ beginner boards are designed to make it easier for first time surfers. The main surface area of the board is under your feet, opposed to a narrow thin tail that will sink easily. This allows the surfer to have even pressure on both feet and prevents the surfer from having to put pressure on front foot to keep the board going, it will still go with pressure on the back foot! The design also allows the board to turn easier and making it easier to ride waves
The core is made from beaded polypropylene (BPP). BPP cores have internal strength and magic memory. Virtually indestructible, super light and 100% water proof. A double stringer system (resin coated) has been inserted into the core to provide superior strength.
The unique slick bottom is made from a composite high density polyethylene (HDPE) with a blend of surlyn like material to keep the skin feeling soft and preventing it from hardening, cracking or becoming brittle.
The deck and rails are made from the amazing WBS material (water barrier skin). This durable deck provides grip, is scuff and scratch resistant, and does not absorb water. It is 100% fade resistant. The deck comes in a range of colours including blue, red or yellow.
