Keep your child secure and safe when travelling in the car with the Mother's Choice Child Safety Harness. Designed for use with booster seats and in conjunction with lap only and lap/sash seatbelts, the Mother's Choice harness provides full restraint to the upper body in order to keep your child in the safest possible position.
Between about 3 and 8 years of age (14 to 32 kg), a harness is a suitable restraint for your child so long as the child's shoulders are below the top of the car seat back or headrest. A child harness attaches to a rear anchorage point and is used in conjunction with any other adult seat belt. This holds a child's body from the pelvis to the shoulders providing excellent upper body protection in an impact.
Child Safety Harnesses are recommended for use with booster seats to improve the upper torso support of the child. When children fall asleep in booster seats they can fall out of the sash part of the seat belt creating the risk of serious injury in an accident. The use of a Child Safety Harness also improves a child's stability when the vehicle is going around corners. It is important to note that a Child Safety Harness must be used if the booster seat is used with a lap belt only seat belt.
