Also I tried cookie dough fudge and all the fudge pieces sank to the bottom as it hadn't mixed properly (due to the defrosting) and the same with choc chip. Very disappointing”

The bowl starts to defrost long before it can turn anything into creamy ice-cream so the final product still has to be hardened in the freezer for at least another hour and is not churned thoroughly. It's also very loud when switched on. Tried a couple of the recipes and neither worked well or tasted much good. A very disappointing product indeed.”

0 “For the price you pay it is a good ice cream maker. I have a tip though, after trying to make ice cream 4 times using different methods I finally discovered the secret to this machine making perfect delicious just-like-the-shop-ice cream. Whip, mix and cook in a saucepan all the ingredients you need, obviously following the recipe... then put it in the freezer for a few hours, then use electric beaters to whip it up again and then pour it into the icecream maker. Then, and only then will you get perfect ice cream. (It still needs to be frozen for an hour or so to make it solid, otherwise it will be like semi melted ice cream). I have found that doing it any other way will just give you cold liquid. I do love it though. I have made awesome chocolate gelato, mango sorbet, creamy vanilla ice cream and mint choc banana ice cream! Yum!”

The only problem is that the bowl starts to deforst and just like the previous customer i still have to put the ice cream in the fridge overnight for it to completely turn to a solid! The second time i used this the motor stopped working coz it was churning for more then an hour... thats how long it was taking to set the ice cream. Its an okay ice cream maker but not a great ice cream maker”
