Winch Usage Tip: When using winch, it is important to use it correctly. You should never under any circumstances turn it on and let it keep running for long periods. If wet bogged or dry bogged or for any other purpose the winch should be used to take the vehicle forward in small intervals. Running the winch for small periods of time, measured in 10s of seconds rather than minutes will prevent burning out the motor and ensure a much longer use lifespan.
