Gata 7" Wireless Reversing Camera System

Given to me as a surprise birthday present! This unit was relatively easy to install into my 4WD. The unit is now 6 months old and has been extremely temperamental; in the hot weather of this past summer, on most days it didn't work. Both the camera and the screen decided to take time out on different occasions, even though both were receiving power. My original though was that either the screen or camera was faulty, not both! Great unit when it works but you cannot depend on it.

I was prompted to submit this review after the suction cup holding the device fell away from the windscreen and dropped onto the floor of my vehicle. Still works when it wants to but six months on the inside of the windscreen has taken its toll on the silicon suction cup membrane.. Miniature cracks have appeared in the center of the silicon suction cup allowing air into it thus causing it to release from the windscreen.

Worth while having although for the money paid at the time $250 absolutely not worth it, so based on that not recommended!!
