Tyrrell’s Old Winery range is named after its historic winery in the Hunter Valley, built in 1863 for the first vintage in 1864. Winemaker's Notes - Made with an old rosé technique that Tyrrell's used in the 1960's. Cabernet sauvignon and merlot are the red varieties used to give the vibrant pink colour and juicy red berry flavours. The varietals were fused together to create a luscious wine that has all the crispness of the cabernet melded perfectly with the softness of merlot. Alc 13.5%

Tasting Notes - Vibrant, cherry red in colour. A fresh style, the bouquet exhibits fragrant strawberry and spice aromas. The palate is soft but refreshing, with a clean crisp finish.

Serving Suggestions - Serve chilled. Ideal as an aperitif or an accompaniment to seafood, poultry and pork dishes.
