Winemakers Comments

Colour - Dark plum red with purple hues.

Nose - Fragrant dark cherry and violets with hints of mint and chocolate.

Palate - A bright and fruit driven palate, with dark cherry, juicy blackberry and a slight hint of mint, all carried by fine mouth-watering tannins, giving the wine a long and refreshing finish.

Vintage Conditions - Vintage started slightly earlier than average and proceeded exceptionally well with mild and dry ripening conditions and cool nights. Healthy vines and well managed crop levels meant that the grapes ripened evenly, with strong varietal definition and character.

Maturation - Parcels of this wine were matured with seasoned French and American oak.

Peak Drinking - Drink now or over the next 3-5 years.
