Wild Oats, the yacht, is the Oatley’s interpretation of innovation, outstanding performance and ultimately, success. With Wild Oats, the wines, we are aiming for a similar result wines that over deliver.
Introduced in 2010 to offer a fuller version of shiraz to the popular Wild Oats Shiraz Viognier, this wine offers concentrated dark fruits on a richer, weightier palate. Wild Oats Shiraz plummy fruits and a touch of spice.
Winemaking notes:
Individual parcels were fermented at moderate temperatures and gently extracted for 10 then run into a combination of older French and some American oak for 18 months maturation prior to blending and bottling.
