Kauwhata is a traditional wine producing area of New Zealand, evidenced by the establishment of the Viticultural Research Station here in 1987. It boasts a unique mircroclimate influenced by the third largest lake in New Zealand. The rocky heat- retaining soils of Quarry Road region. This is a ripe, full Sauvignon Blanc with melon and passionfruit aromas underipinned with grassy gooseberry notes. Enjoy on it's own or as a complement to white meats or spicy dishes .
