Appearance: Bright crimson with purple hues

Bouquet:Lifted, complex perfurmed shiraz aromas

Palate:
The palate shows bright and lifted fruit characters of berries together with some undertones of pepper and subtle oak use.

Vintage Conditions
The 2007 season was warm giving early development of fruit flavour at balanced alcohol levels. Timely rain during the growing season allowed the fruit to reach optimal maturity.

Winemaking:
Fruit is sourced from carefully selected vineyards identified from a number of premium Victorian grape growing regions. Havesting takes place once the fruit has achieved optimal ripeness and shows balance and freshness. A combination  of winemaking techniques are used to produce a wine with complexity, freshness and balance. They include the use of 5% viognier co-fermented with the shiraz to give aroma lift and added complexity.

Wine Analysis: Alc/Vol : 13.5 %   pH : 3.44   TA : 6.8 g/L

Cellaring: This wine is made for early consumption, however, it will continue to develop varietal character and complexity with short term cellaring (in a good cellar).
