Yolanda from Dysart, QLD says, “After reading the other reviews maybe I just got a faulty one. The Gazebo was great but two nights after putting it up we got a little bit of rain. I did consider pulling it down but it wasn't raining much at all. In the morning my Gazebo was on the ground and the metal rods were actually snapped in two so it couldn't be repaired. Wouldn't recommend it for someone who is intending to leave it up most of the time.”

Although during windy conditions best to secure it with the pegs & ropes provided. It withheld a huge windy rain storm for us and with the rest of our camp grounds ruined in the morning, I could atleast smile that my new Gazebo was still standing :-) I love it!”

Sard from HOLT, ACT says, “OK for price - I paid $69 but would recommend only getting it at $49. First one faulty, second one (thanks for fast replacement) had lots of loose threads everywhere and one of the screws at the top had come out (easily fixed). Some holes developing where the thread goes through the fabric. Haven't used properly yet - only to set up once to make sure it's OK.”

Same item can be purchased from super cheap on special for $30 the one like they are showing in write up is $160 at super cheap so don't get caught by from a reputable company”

Tim from Caboolture, QLD says, “Maybe all these people complaining about their gazebo failing when it rained or got windy should have read the booklet tha came with it. it learly states that you should not leave it up in either of those conditions. Fool on them! If you want it to stand up to those conditions, simply put a good quality tarp over it and secure the tarp to the ground. I have had mine up in the back yard since i got it & its still in great condition. It has faced countless storms, rain and windy weather. Also the unit pictured looks just like what i received. With a bit of brain power, yours can last too! Well wort the money!!!”

I put it up in my backyard and it was ever so easy. Like all gazebos, I would not put it up in the wind, I have seen really expensive ones go flying past, but for still days, this looks great.”

Ann from Bondi, NSW says, “Yes I agree that it is one of the easiest gazebos to put up it is so light weight, I can do it on my own. Just a word of warning the first time in the rain it was waterproof. Unfortunately, the second time it isn't. We're going to hit it with some waterproofing spray which should do the trick. Didn't want anyone to get caught out like I did today. Cheers.”

Will see how it goes. It does go up pretty easy but is hardly a permanent structure. I bought it for shade for the kids outside and I guess for special events like a birthday party it will do the job fine.”

Erik Jesper from Point Cook, VIC says, “Looks great and rods and fabric are good quality, but the plastic joints will snap if folded incorrectly or left out in strong winds. Especially the ceiling rod joints should have some sort of locking pipe to slide over them as these are the points exerted the most pressure and likely to give in and break. Mine lasted a week before it was torn to pieces even though it had been anchored into the concrete patio and chained from the top center down to our wooden table under it.....”

Debra from Tom Price, WA says, “Second time gazebo was errected it blew to pieces [every other gazebo up at the time - we were at a sporting event - sstood there uncollapsed and unbroken whilst our one WAS IN MULTIPLE pieces -joining pop rivets all busted and the entire frame in literally 100 pieces!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY on this product - its rubbish and clearly the manufacturers KNOW it hence the rediculously CHEAP price [should have realised this BEFORE I purchased it!!!]”

Ann from Bondi, NSW says, “After using my gazebo a half dozen times (for market stall) the struts completely snapped under the weight of a bit of rain (that was after I spend a fortune waterproofing the cover as it was not waterproof). The struts snapped and the gazebo landed on my head (very painful). A friend in Qld had her gazebo break last weekend (after rain). Incidently, the picture of the carry bag is not correct the bag does not have wheels, that picture is for the larger gazebos that have cross struts (you can get them from camping stores). This gazebo does not have cross struts which is why it eventually breaks. Very dangerous and I'm just glad it didn't fall on a customer - only my stock and myself suffered that day.”

It has lasted through rain and wind and I was surprised to find that it was pretty good at keeping the rain off, although we didn't buy it for wet weather, just shade.
