Dino and Judy Zappacosta established their boutique winery in 1995 4klms from Griffith.

The fruit for this superb 2002 Shiraz Reserve was sourced by Dino from the quality vineyards for which Griffith is renowned.

Made in traditional open fermenters (which are now scarce) and allowed to sit on the skins for an extended period of time in one of the last wineries to employ this process. This lovely flat red displays ripe black cherry fruit characters with a hint of black pepper.

With a luscious palate with fine tannins and a long elegant finish, Zappacosta Estate 2002 Shiraz Reserve is a fine accompaniment to beef or game and is the perfect choice for the connoisseur desirous of an exceptional red that hangs on the palate.
