The Cabernet Sauvignon component provides finesse and length with its intense depth of blackcurrant, mulberry and earthy characters while Merlot provides suppleness and refined elegance.

The wine is medium to dark red brick in colour, well balanced in structure with a lifted bouquet of dark fruits. The combination of these two superb grape varieties provides a lovely mid palate of plum and black berry fruit flavours supported by well integrated vanillin oak and velvety tannins backed by a good persistence of flavour.
