Wine making in the Limb family dates back to early last century. The grapes Ivan Limb used to make this wine were grown on the lower slopes of Patterson Hill, part of the Limb Family property which overlooks Gulf St. Vincent to the west and the twonship of Greenock to the northeast.

This medium to full bodied wine shows intense berry fruit, spice and subtle oak coming from 12 months maturation in French and American oak hogshead.
