Wine making in the Limb family dates back to early last century. The grapes Ivan Limb used to make this wine were grown on the lower slopes of Patterson Hill, part of the Limb Family property which overlooks Gulf St. Vincent to the west and the twonship of Greenock to the northeast.

This medium to full bodied wine shows intense berry fruit, spice and subtle oak coming from 12 months maturation in French and American oak hogshead.

Patterson Hill 2004 Barossa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon:

Colour: Deep Crimson Red
Bouquet: Concentrated berry fruits with a hint of leafyness
Palate: A fruit driven wine, cassis and capsicum flavours, vibrant
with finely grained tannins and subtle yet integrated oak.
Cellar the next 6 to 8 years.

Patterson Hill 2004 Barossa Valley Shiraz:

Colour: Deep Crimson with Red Hues
Bouquet: Full bodied displaying rich fruit flavour of dark berries and plums.
Balanced with velvety subtle grape tannins.
A true Barossa Shiraz which can be enjoyed now or with careful
cellaring will develop gracefully over the next 6 to 8 years.
