12 x De Bortoli Selection Semillon Chardonnay 2010

dB Selection varietal wines are made at the De Bortoli Bilbul Winery where more than 75 years ago Vittorio De Bortoli established the family company, crushing 15 tonnes of Shiraz in his fi rst vintage. Carefully selected fruit is harvested at optimum maturity to produce wines with true varietal expression.

Vinification - Some of the better parcels of fruit from each vintage are blended together to create a wine of distinction. All juice is fermented cold to retain freshness. More then 20% of the wine undergoes secondary fermentation in tank to add complexity.

Palate - A very refreshing, easy drinking sparkling style wine, with fresh fruit flavours, finishing clean with a delicate, creamy mouthfeel and a crisp acid finish.

Appearance - Pale straw in colour.

Bouquet - Attractive nose of strawberries and cream with citrus notes in the background.

General Characteristics - Medium sweet and light bodied.

Suggested Cuisine - Best enjoyed as an apertif.

Cellaring - Best enjoyed now and over the next two years.
