Tasting notes:

With high quality Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz grapes grown in the premium viticultural region of Central Ranges, New South Wales, Australia, Charles Strong has made a delightful, soft and complex red wine that is guaranteed to please.

Colour - Pale yellow gold with a tinge of green.
Nose – Ripe passionfruit and citrus dominate with hints of stone fruits.
Palate – A full palate with clean flavours of grapefruit, lemon and apricot that lead into a finish with a crisp lemon acidity.
Blend: Chardonnay 65% / Semillon 35%
Region: Central Ranges of NSW.

Vintage Conditions
The lead up to harvest 2007 one of the driest in a decade. The resultant yield was well below average, but with stunning flavours, both in character and intensity.
Winemaking Notes
The grapes were quickly and gently pressed, and the juice cold settled to brilliantly clear over 3 days. The juice was then vinified at cool temperatures to develop the full cool climate flavour expression. The wine was matured at low temperature, prior to bottling under screw cap to preserve freshness and flavour.
