6x Riccadonna Prosecco Sparkling - Imported

Riccadonna Prosecco is an elegant crisp extra dry white Italian sparkling wine. Exclusively made with Prosecco grapes grown in the designated Prosecco area between Conegliano Veneto and Valdibbiadene in the Veneto region in Italy. The Charmat method ensures a natural fermentation with no added CO2.

Vinification

The grapes are pressed and stored in a cold room in order to obtain the wine base for sparkling wine. The wine is blended in order to obtain a “cuvée”. The next step is to add sugar and to start the fermentation, in order to produce sparkling wine. Fermentation takes approximately 20 days. At the end of this period the sparkling wine is ready to be filtered and prepared for final bottling. Before the wine is put into bottles, the product is microfiltered using a membrane of 1.0 microns. Before labelling the bottles are pasteurised at 45°C for 40 minutes.

Palate - Riccadonna Prosecco is elegant and crisp with overtones of citrus, melon and almonds.
